Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, event planning, or related field
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in event planning preferably in a luxury or full-service hotel environment
- Proven leadership experience managing a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills with keen attention to detail
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Proficiency in event management software such as Delphi, Opera Sales and Catering, Social Tables
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during event setup and execution

Job Duties
- Serve as the primary point of contact for key clients from inquiry to post-event follow-up
- Conduct site inspections, proposals, and negotiations according to hotel standards
- Manage all phases of event planning including budgeting, timelines, vendor coordination, setup, and execution
- Liaise with Food and Beverage, Front Office, Housekeeping, and Audio Visual departments to ensure seamless service delivery
- Oversee event setup and breakdown ensuring adherence to brand and service standards
- Lead, train, and mentor junior event coordinators and staff
- Delegate responsibilities and conduct regular performance reviews
- Prepare event budgets, forecasts, and post-event financial analysis
- Maximize event revenue through upselling services and optimizing space utilization
- Ensure proper billing and contract adherence
- Collaborate with Sales and Marketing to develop strategies to increase event bookings
- Identify market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback
- Contribute to marketing campaigns and promotional initiatives for events
