Job Requirements

- 5-7 years of experience in event management

- 5-7 years of experience in event management, preferably within a luxury or full-service hotel environment
- proven leadership experience with strong team management capabilities
- exceptional organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills
- excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing abilities
- proficiency in event management software (e.g., Delphi, Opera Sales & Catering, Social Tables)
- availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Act as the primary liaison for key clients from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up
- conduct site tours, develop customized proposals, and lead contract negotiations in alignment with hotel standards
- cultivate and maintain strong relationships with repeat and VIP clients to foster loyalty and repeat business
- lead all phases of event planning, including budgeting, timelines, vendor coordination, and on-site execution
- coordinate cross-departmentally with teams such as Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Front Office, and AV to ensure smooth event delivery
- supervise event setup and breakdown, ensuring alignment with brand standards and client expectations
- manage, mentor, and develop junior event coordinators and support staff
- delegate tasks effectively and monitor team performance to ensure excellence in execution
- conduct regular team evaluations and contribute to hiring and staffing decisions
- create and manage event budgets, forecasts, and post-event financial reports
- maximize revenue opportunities through strategic upselling and efficient space utilization
- ensure accurate billing and adherence to contractual agreements
- partner with Sales & Marketing to develop initiatives that drive event bookings
- analyze market trends, client feedback, and competitive offerings to enhance service offerings
- contribute to the planning and execution of promotional campaigns and packages
