Job Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in event management
  • proven leadership experience

Job Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Event Planning, or a related field
  • 5-7 years of experience in event management, preferably within a luxury or full-service hotel environment
  • proven leadership experience with strong team management capabilities
  • exceptional organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills
  • excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing abilities
  • proficiency in event management software (e.g., Delphi, Opera Sales & Catering, Social Tables)
  • availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties

  • Act as the primary liaison for key clients from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up
  • conduct site tours, develop customized proposals, and lead contract negotiations in alignment with hotel standards
  • cultivate and maintain strong relationships with repeat and VIP clients to foster loyalty and repeat business
  • lead all phases of event planning, including budgeting, timelines, vendor coordination, and on-site execution
  • coordinate cross-departmentally with teams such as Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Front Office, and AV to ensure smooth event delivery
  • supervise event setup and breakdown, ensuring alignment with brand standards and client expectations
  • manage, mentor, and develop junior event coordinators and support staff
  • delegate tasks effectively and monitor team performance to ensure excellence in execution
  • conduct regular team evaluations and contribute to hiring and staffing decisions
  • create and manage event budgets, forecasts, and post-event financial reports
  • maximize revenue opportunities through strategic upselling and efficient space utilization
  • ensure accurate billing and adherence to contractual agreements
  • partner with Sales & Marketing to develop initiatives that drive event bookings
  • analyze market trends, client feedback, and competitive offerings to enhance service offerings
  • contribute to the planning and execution of promotional campaigns and packages
