Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, event planning, or a related field
- 5-7 years of experience in event management, preferably in a luxury or full-service hotel environment
- Proven leadership experience with strong team management capabilities
- Exceptional organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and client-facing abilities
- Proficiency in event management software such as Delphi, Opera Sales & Catering, and Social Tables
- Availability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays

Job Duties
- Act as the primary liaison for key clients from initial inquiry through post-event follow-up
- Conduct site tours, develop customized proposals, and lead contract negotiations in alignment with hotel standards
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with repeat and VIP clients to foster loyalty and repeat business
- Lead all phases of event planning, including budgeting, timelines, vendor coordination, and on-site execution
- Coordinate cross-departmentally with teams such as Food & Beverage, Housekeeping, Front Office, and AV to ensure smooth event delivery
- Supervise event setup and breakdown, ensuring alignment with brand standards and client expectations
- Manage, mentor, and develop junior event coordinators and support staff
- Delegate tasks effectively and monitor team performance to ensure excellence in execution
- Conduct regular team evaluations and contribute to hiring and staffing decisions
- Create and manage event budgets, forecasts, and post-event financial reports
- Maximize revenue opportunities through strategic upselling and efficient space utilization
- Ensure accurate billing and adherence to contractual agreements
- Partner with Sales & Marketing to develop initiatives that drive event bookings
- Analyze market trends, client feedback, and competitive offerings to enhance service offerings
- Contribute to the planning and execution of promotional campaigns and packages
