Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- experience in banquet or food service management
- effective leadership and communication skills
- ability to work flexible schedules including weekends and holidays
- ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- physical ability to stand, walk for long periods, lift 15-20 pounds, bend, push carts, sweep, dust and mop
- ability to work in environments with exposure to extreme temperatures and food and beverage cleaning chemicals
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- exceptional knowledge and understanding of various banquet and food service techniques and standards
- effective leadership, management, organizational and communication skills
- ability to work flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- ability to multi-task in a high paced environment
- ability to make quick decisions and possess good judgment
- excellent business communication and interpersonal skills
- intermediate level Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint
- experience with Delphi, Kronos, Meeting Matrix software
Job Duties
- Direct, control, and organize banquet staffs and maintain good service
- maintain all equipment
- control payroll and maintain assigned records
- coordinate functions with service staff
- coordinate services required by stewarding department
- ensure appropriate setup of functions
- oversee functions flow smoothly and trouble free
- follow up with captains to assure signed checks for banquet functions
- ensure all servers are receiving MOS according to Omni standards
- perform all other duties as required
- utilize computer skills including Micros, Delphi
- work in interior of hotel, in restaurant, lounge and kitchen areas with exposure to extreme temperatures
- manage exposure to food and beverage hazardous cleaning chemicals
