Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum two years experience in event management, food and beverage, or related professional area
- Availability for full-time 11-week temporary position
- Ability to lead and inspire a team
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Knowledge of relevant laws and sanitation standards
- Must be able to work on-site at Renaissance Orlando at SeaWorld
- Willingness to engage in continuous improvement and training

Job Duties
- Direct and motivate banquet team to provide high quality service
- Monitor and control financial and administrative responsibilities including asset protection
- Provide clear and concise communication to all stakeholders
- Identify training opportunities and develop strategies to achieve goals
- Manage departmental supply needs and inventories
- Apply knowledge of laws related to event management
- Schedule banquet service staff to meet forecast and maximize profits
- Lead banquet shifts and participate in event service
- Set goals and delegate tasks to improve departmental performance
- Conduct monthly department meetings with banquet team
- Act as liaison to kitchen staff
- Handle guest feedback, complaints, and ensure guest satisfaction
- Empower employees to provide excellent customer service
- Communicate and execute emergency procedures
- Observe and provide feedback on employee service behaviors
- Participate in corrective action plans
- Review guest satisfaction survey results and implement improvements
- Attend and participate in all pertinent meetings
