Job Requirements
- Minimum four years experience in hotel banquet senior management in a high-volume luxury hotel
- High school degree or equivalent
- Ability to lift, pull, push, or carry up to 50 pounds without assistance
- Ability to stand, walk, sit, and move for extended periods
- Excellent communication skills
- Detail oriented
- Computer skills
- Ability to perform under high levels of stress

Job Duties
- Represents management at functions
- Determines set-ups in conjunction with sales team leaders
- Coordinates functions with service staff and banquet leadership
- Ensures guest satisfaction through effective supervision and delegation
- Checks on food quality and courteous performance of banquet staff
- Coordinates with Stewarding Department to recover food leftovers and minimize waste
- Briefs waiters on functions and procedures
- Establishes and maintains high standards of quality service through training
- Maintains banquet equipment and inventory
- Maintains records, reports, and payroll costs
- Inspects function rooms and arranges maintenance
- Adjusts staffing levels according to business volume fluctuations
- Maximizes department profits through effective management
- Keeps updated on food and wine trends
- Assists with set-up, break-down, and execution of banquet functions
- Performs other duties as required
