Job Requirements
- Full-time management position with full schedule flexibility including weekends and holidays
- Desire to understand and anticipate guest needs in a fast-paced environment

- Creative, innovative, detail oriented and organized
- Prior hotel banquet service experience
- Experience in event services management roles preferred
Job Qualifications
- Hotel experience with thorough understanding of banquet service levels
- Previous experience as an Event Services Manager, Assistant, Captain, or Event Services Supervisor preferred
- Refined verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in general computer knowledge
- Strong leadership and motivational skills
- Creativity and innovation in event setup and decor
- Detail oriented and highly organized
Job Duties
- Support and manage the Events Department while collaborating with the Food and Beverage Director and other hotel departments
- Supervise, empower, lead, coach and motivate the banquet team including captains, servers, and lead house attendants
- Review Banquet Event Orders to ensure thorough communication with guests and departments
- Ensure proper and timely setup of all functions and meetings maintaining food, beverage, and meeting specifications
- Proactively review staffing and equipment needs for events
- Coordinate and execute all events with Culinary, Stewarding, Catering, CS Floor and Beverage teams
- Conduct daily walk-throughs of banquet areas and storerooms to ensure compliance with health regulations and corporate standards
