Job Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of bartending experience in a banquet, hotel, private club, or upscale restaurant setting
  • strong working knowledge of spirits, cocktails, wine, and beer, including proper pouring technique and cocktail preparation
  • TIPS certification
  • ability to work efficiently and professionally under pressure during high-volume events
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for hospitality
  • ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
  • ability to stand for the full duration of a shift and work both indoor and outdoor events
  • basic computer proficiency

Job Duties

  • Set up and break down full bar stations including glassware, garnishes, ice, liquor, wine, beer, and non-alcoholic offerings per event specifications
  • craft cocktails, mix drinks, and pour wine and beer with consistency, accuracy, and presentation standards befitting a private country club
  • maintain thorough knowledge of the club's beverage menu, signature cocktails, wine list, and specialty offerings
  • attend pre-event briefings to review bar menus, guest counts, special requests, and service expectations
  • greet and engage members and guests in a warm, professional manner delivering personalized service that reflects the club's standards
  • manage bar inventory during events tracking usage, maintaining par levels, and minimizing waste
  • keep the bar area clean, organized, and stocked throughout the event, including proper sanitization of tools and surfaces
  • process drink orders efficiently during high-volume service periods without compromising quality or hospitality
  • reset and fully restock the bar following each event to ensure readiness for the next function
