Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous bartending or food and beverage service experience preferred
- Knowledge of cocktail recipes and classic drinks
- Familiarity with POS systems
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends
- Compliance with alcohol service laws
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Good interpersonal skills

Job Duties
- Sets up service stations and performs assigned side work
- Demonstrates knowledge on service pieces, service procedures and timing
- Understands menu, sauces and wine service
- Knowledgeable of cocktail list and classic cocktails
- Provides immediate attention to members and guests upon seating
- Distributes menus in the absence of host or hostess
- Fills glasses with ice water during menu review
- Describes specials, answers questions and offers menu suggestions
- Takes food and beverage orders from members and guests
- Complies with laws and policies related to alcohol service
- Inputs orders into POS system with special instructions
- Follows up to ensure member and guest satisfaction
- Removes dirty dishes
- Suggests and serves dessert, coffee and after dinner drinks
- Charges bills to members’ accounts
- Maintains cleanliness and organization of restaurant, bar top and service stations
- Maintains linens and restocking duties
- Reports complaints to department leaders and management
- Performs clean-up and closing duties
- Attends food and beverage meetings
- Responsible for tip declaration
