Job Requirements
- Catering or banquet experience is required
- Some bartending experience is required
- Competently perform the essential functions, knowledge and skills outlined
- Effective customer service skills
- Ability to assist customers in making menu selections
- Ability to deal tactfully and courteously with the public in a diverse environment
- Ability to understand and carry out instructions
- Ability to understand diagrams
- Ability to make simple arithmetic calculations
- Ability to accurately pour beer, wine, and liquor
- Ability to operate equipment and appliances
- Ability to serve guests with proper and consistent etiquette
Job Qualifications

Job Duties
- Serve orders for food and beverages
- Prepare some food items such as salads and sauces
- Assist in escorting guests to and from scheduled activities
- Advise guests regarding menu items
- Assist guests
- Answer guests' questions regarding the Zoo and Safari Park
- Greet guests
- Close down events in a timely manner
- Follow standard inventory procedures
- Adhere to all SDZWA and department policies and practices
- Perform related duties and responsibilities as required
