Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 2+ years of supervisory experience in banquet setting
  • Able and willing to work part-time schedule including variable shifts, nights, weekends and holidays
  • Strong leadership and mentorship skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work well in fast paced, team-oriented environment

  • Willingness to work part-time schedule including nights, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Receive function sheets from the Catering office to assess future events and workload
  • Meet with function group leaders to discuss details and last-minute changes for events
  • Ensure the delivery of exceptional service to clients during events
  • Order necessary materials and account for all food, beverage, labor, and equipment used
  • Complete reports and maintain accurate records of all banquet events
  • Address and resolve employee and guest complaints promptly
  • Inform staff of management policies and ensure compliance
  • Inspect event rooms prior to staff arrival to verify setup and equipment placement
