Job Requirements
- ability to read, write, speak and follow written and/or oral direction in English
- minimum three years full service restaurant, private club server or banquet server experience
- minimum two years management or supervisory position experience
- good organizational skills
- basic understanding of food service including fine dining etiquette, continental cuisine, wines and beverage service
- physical ability to work on feet moving at a quick pace for long hours
- ability to lift, carry and move a minimum of fifty pounds including furniture, glasses, dishes, ice, beer, wine, liquor
- must pass a drug screening examination
- neat and professional appearance
- courteous in dealings with members, public, vendors and staff
- flexible schedule including weekends and holidays

Job Duties
- be punctual at all times and arrive to work on time consistently
- must be able to work a flexible schedule including weekends and holidays
- maintain clothing in proper taste, crisp, clean, and in good repair upon entering the property
- uphold a professional and welcoming demeanor
- keep hair clean and styled appropriately with management approval
- set a proper example in personal appearance including dress and hygiene
- meet and exceed all banquet server job description requirements
- supervise banquet service staff and maximize their ability through training programs
- work cooperatively under the Director of Catering, Catering Sales Manager, and Banquets Director
- train and orient new employees
- complete staff scheduling by the preceding Monday
- minimize labor through creative planning and proactive management
- create new and unique food and beverage displays
- communicate closely with event coordinators ensuring member satisfaction
- follow daily plan of operations as directed
- perform bar requisition and distribution
- ensure all special function orders are rung into the Point of Sale
- schedule and perform weekly and monthly cleaning of banquet facilities
- supervise monthly inventory
- perform closing walk-through and lock-up of Catering Events and Mansion
- follow up on any other duties assigned by management
- maintain detailed attention to function orders and coordinate closely with event staff
