Job Requirements

Job Duties

  • Identifies and plans for all details to successfully execute an event utilizing banquet event orders
  • provides leadership to banquet staff, schedules, trains, evaluates, and counsels staff with direction of the Catering Director
  • ensures banquet department employee standards and service standards are met and implemented
  • reads banquet event sheets to determine room setups and table equipment configurations
  • prepares banquet rooms for scheduled functions including setup of tables, chairs, equipment, linens, and service ware
  • ensures banquet rooms are clean, properly set, and ready for use including vacuuming, dusting, spot cleaning, adjusting lighting and thermostat
  • meets with banquet staff prior to major events to communicate pertinent information
