Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- At least five years of culinary experience in catering
- Prior experience in supervisory or leadership role
- Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and multitask
- Effective interpersonal and communication skills
Job Qualifications
- Minimum five years catering culinary experience in hotel, convention center or sports complex
- Experience as kitchen supervisor, sous chef or chef de partie
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to analyze event orders and coordinate effectively
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred
Job Duties
- Manage and participate in daily banquet culinary operations
- Supervise food quality and presentation
- Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
- Control cost and maximize profitability
- Analyze Banquet Event Orders and coordinate food and beverage portions with Catering and event teams
- Recruit, interview, and train team members
- Assist in creating and planning menus
