Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • At least five years of culinary experience in catering
  • Prior experience in supervisory or leadership role
  • Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and multitask
  • Effective interpersonal and communication skills

Job Qualifications

  • Minimum five years catering culinary experience in hotel, convention center or sports complex
  • Experience as kitchen supervisor, sous chef or chef de partie
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
  • Ability to analyze event orders and coordinate effectively
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Culinary degree or relevant certification preferred

Job Duties

  • Manage and participate in daily banquet culinary operations
  • Supervise food quality and presentation
  • Ensure compliance with safety and sanitation standards
  • Control cost and maximize profitability
  • Analyze Banquet Event Orders and coordinate food and beverage portions with Catering and event teams
  • Recruit, interview, and train team members
  • Assist in creating and planning menus
