Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of three years leadership experience in luxury hotel upscale restaurant or high-volume event banquets
  • Formal culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
  • ServSafe or comparable food safety certification preferred
  • Availability for evenings weekends and holidays as business and events demand
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a strong plus

  • Advanced knowledge of modern cuisine plating techniques and large-scale kitchen operations
  • Exceptional organizational interpersonal and communication skills with a strong guest service orientation
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate motivate a team and thrive under pressure in fast-paced environments
  • Formal culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
  • ServSafe or comparable food safety certification preferred
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a strong plus

Job Duties

  • Conceptualize prepare and present banquet menus that showcase sophistication innovation and the highest standards of taste and aesthetics
  • Supervise all aspects of banquet food production including menu planning recipe development and coordination with the Executive Chef
  • Lead train and inspire the banquet kitchen brigade fostering mutual respect teamwork and uncompromising quality
  • Oversee daily operations for large-scale events and intimate gatherings ensuring logistics timelines and service levels are met
  • Maintain inventory manage vendor relationships and ensure the use of premium local and seasonal ingredients
  • Uphold rigorous standards for sanitation food safety and regulatory compliance
  • Collaborate with Sales Events and Beverage teams to create bespoke menus and memorable occasions that align with client vision and hotel brand standards
  • Continuously evaluate processes and implement improvements to enhance quality efficiency and guest satisfaction
