Job Requirements
- Minimum two years of high volume kitchen management experience
- Prior catering or banquet supervisory experience preferred
- Culinary degree or equivalent education and professional experience
- Experience coaching and documenting employee performance
- Knowledge of food and workplace safety procedures
- Serve Safe Certification and Allergy Awareness training preferred
- Ability to maintain kitchen sanitation and organization
- Proficiency in culinary techniques and kitchen equipment operation
- Good communication and leadership skills
- Pass a background check
Job Qualifications

- Strong culinary and cooking skills in diverse cooking styles
- Proficient in food cost analysis and labor control
- Thorough knowledge of kitchen equipment use and operation
- Skilled with knife work, grill, broiler, sauté, expediter, and garde manger techniques
- Financial understanding of food costs and waste minimization
Job Duties
- Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop innovative menus that showcase culinary expertise and creativity
- Contribute to menu planning and recipe development ensuring quality and cost standards
- Oversee food preparation and cooking activities maintaining quality and safety compliance
- Supervise and assist kitchen staff in various culinary tasks ensuring consistency and excellence
- Coordinate and manage kitchen operations including ordering, inventory, and equipment maintenance
- Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary kitchen environment compliant with health regulations
- Train, mentor, and supervise kitchen staff providing guidance and coaching to enhance performance
- Conduct training sessions on culinary techniques and food safety practices
- Monitor food quality, presentation, and taste through regular checks and tests
