Job Requirements

  • 3-5 years experience as a banquet sous chef
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks in a high volume catering business
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Ability to cater to guests' needs with a high level of customer service
  • Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred

Job Duties

  • Assist in supervising the preparation and cooking of various food items
  • Develop banquet menu items and their preparation and garnishment
  • Supervise kitchen associates
  • Assist with associate training and scheduling of cooks and sous chefs
  • Assist in monitoring payroll costs and overtime
  • Support culinary direction of the Executive Chef and adhere to all brand standards
  • Manage department scheduling, discipline, and/or hiring as needed
  • Work with Executive Chef to develop new banquet menus and recipes
