Job Requirements

  • Minimum of three years' leadership experience in luxury hotel, upscale restaurant, or high-volume event banquets
  • Formal culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
  • ServSafe or comparable food safety certification preferred
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Availability for evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Ability to innovate and motivate a team under pressure

Job Qualifications

  • Advanced knowledge of modern cuisine, plating techniques, and large-scale kitchen operations
  • Exceptional organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to innovate, motivate a team, and perform under pressure
  • Formal culinary degree or equivalent professional experience
  • ServSafe or comparable food safety certification preferred
  • Bi-lingual English/Spanish is a strong plus
  • High School Diploma or GED

Job Duties

  • Conceptualize, prepare, and present banquet menus showcasing sophistication and innovation
  • Supervise banquet food production including menu planning and recipe development
  • Lead, train, and inspire the banquet kitchen team fostering teamwork and quality
  • Oversee daily operations for events ensuring logistics and service levels are met
  • Maintain inventory, manage vendor relationships, and use premium, local, and seasonal ingredients
  • Uphold sanitation, food safety, and regulatory compliance standards
  • Collaborate with Sales, Events, and Beverage departments to create bespoke menus
  • Continuously evaluate and improve processes for quality and efficiency
