Job Requirements

  • high school diploma or equivalent
  • experience working in banquet or large-scale kitchen operations
  • legal eligibility to work in the United States
  • proactive approach to workplace safety and sanitation
  • strong leadership skills and ability to supervise kitchen staff
  • excellent communication skills
  • ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • support the Executive Chef in leading the daily operations of the banquet kitchens
  • consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting fellow colleagues
  • lead and supervise the quality of the food offered, as well as coordinate production
  • actively share ideas, opinions and suggestions in daily shift briefings
  • maintain proper rotation of product in all chillers to minimize wastage/spoilage and ensure storeroom requisitions are accurate
  • ensure the cleanliness and maintenance of all work areas, utensils, and equipment
  • follow and enforce all kitchen policies, procedures and service standards
  • follow and enforce all safety and sanitation policies when handling food and beverage
  • create unforgettable culinary experiences for our guests
