Job Requirements
- High school diploma/GED
- 1-year hospitality or banquet experience preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, push, pull, lift, and perform repetitive motions
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work in an inside environment with temperature fluctuations
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma/GED
- 1-year hospitality or banquet experience preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel)
- Pleasant, polite demeanor with a neat and clean appearance
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills
- Ability to handle pressures of coordinating various activities
- Excellent problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively
Job Duties
- Sets up banquet function tables with linens, china, silverware, glassware, and centerpieces
- Prepares waiting and beverage stations
- Serves food and beverages to banquet guests
- Clears away dishes and items used in banquet service, including linens
- Ensures proper storage of equipment and perishable items
- Maintains clean and orderly work areas
- Abides by OHM and hotel brand standards, policies, and regulations
- Prepares for future banquets by performing various duties as required
- Relieves other team members for breaks during the shift
