Job Requirements

  • Have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards
  • hold a current Food Handler Card
  • be able to physically lift and move heavy materials weighing up to 80 lbs
  • be able to operate in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
  • maintain a neat, clean, and well-groomed appearance
  • follow all safety and security procedures and rules
  • communicate effectively with supervisors
  • be available to work night and weekend shifts

Job Qualifications

  • Hold a current Food Handler Card
  • have basic knowledge of food and beverage preparations and service standards
  • understand guest relations and etiquette
  • know appropriate table settings and service ware
  • be familiar with various equipment and setup styles for meeting rooms
  • have basic English language skills sufficient for customer interaction
  • comprehend written product labeling instructions
  • remember and promote menu items
  • operate beverage equipment such as coffee makers

Job Duties

  • Keep storage rooms maintained and organized
  • maintain back hall by breaking down dirty dishes and bringing them to dish room
  • pick up linen and put it away
  • set up all meeting rooms to guest specifications including transporting heavy materials
  • break down meeting rooms after use and return equipment to storage
  • maintain cleaning schedule for meeting rooms and ballrooms
  • supply and replenish meeting rooms with clean glasses and fresh water
