Job Duties

  • Meet with group coordinators or hosts before receptions to review and confirm arrangements
  • Read and analyze banquet event orders to gather guest information, determine setup and timing, and identify special needs
  • Attend to and try to fulfill all special banquet event preparations
  • Follow up on banquet event special preparations to ensure compliance
  • Comply with all company safety policies and procedures
  • Report any maintenance issues, safety hazards, accidents, or injuries
  • Maintain a professional and neat uniform and personal appearance
  • Protect company information privacy and property
  • Support colleagues and treat them with dignity and respect
  • Provide assistance to the team to achieve common goals
  • Meet quality assurance standards
  • Move, lift, transport, push, pull, and place objects up to 25 pounds without assistance
  • Stand, sit, or walk for extended periods during shifts
  • Visually read and verify information in various formats
  • Inspect tools, equipment, or machinery for defects
  • Reach above the head and below the knees, including crouching, twisting, dragging, and bending
  • Navigate narrow, confined, or elevated spaces
  • Move over inclined, uneven, or slippery surfaces and stairways
  • Greet and recognize all guests per company standards
  • Speak clearly and professionally
  • Answer phone calls using appropriate etiquette
  • Perform other reasonable job-related tasks as assigned by supervisors
