Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 2-4 years of relevant food service experience preferably in banquet service
- Experience working in a 4-star or 5-star venue with synchronized service
- Knowledge of alcoholic beverages including wine, beer, cocktails and spirits
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Flexibility to work part-time on-call shifts
Job Qualifications
- Applicants with 2-4 years of food service experience, preferably banquet service
- Experience in a 4-star or 5-star venue with synchronized service
- Knowledge of wine, beer, cocktails and spirits
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for creating exceptional guest experiences
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor
Job Duties
- Set up for functions to include draping tables, setting silverware, folding napkins, preparing drinks and putting out table centerpieces
- Serve food and beverages including picking up food from back hall, carrying trays to function location, serving food and clearing tables
- Breakdown to include bussing tables, putting away dirty linen and centerpieces, vacuuming
- Clean and organize back hall and storerooms
- Set up for AM or PM break stations including coffee, tea, snacks and beverages
- Assist with event room setup according to meal period and table needs
- Perform food and beverage preparation duties such as preparing condiments, brewing coffee and ensuring workstations are stocked
