Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2-year banquet or catering experience
  • Able to lift 30lbs frequently
  • Able to stand/walk 6-8 hours
  • Available to work on-call, weekends, and evenings
  • Valid work authorization for the U.S.

Job Duties

  • Review BEOs for menu details, room setup, food, beverage and audio/visual needs
  • Assist the set up staff in table set up, buffet set up, bar set up, etc
  • Check quality and presentation of food before serving
  • Prepare and serve beverages for the function
  • Provide prompt and professional service to all guests
  • Have working knowledge of liquor, beer, wine and food that is served at the property
  • Suggest pairings of food to wine or beer
  • Communicate with Kitchen keeping update on any and food ordering
  • Perform other duties as assigned
