Job Requirements
- Able to work effectively and safely while subject to wet floors temperature extremes and excessive noise
- must be able to lift up to 50 pounds in weight
- must be able to maneuver in an often tightly-quartered environment
- hours may be extended or irregular to include nights weekends and holidays
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience as a banquet server waiter waitress or in a similar role in the food and beverage or hospitality industry is preferred
- strong multitasking and time management skills with the ability to stay composed and efficient during busy events
- excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide a welcoming and accommodating experience for guests
- physical ability to stand for extended periods carry heavy trays and move quickly while maintaining precision and attention to detail
Job Duties
- Prepare banquet rooms according to event specifications including setting up tables chairs linens and service stations while ensuring all items meet quality and presentation standards
- provide attentive and professional food and beverage service to guests during events including serving courses refilling beverages and promptly addressing guest needs
- break down and clean event spaces after services including clearing tables storing equipment and resetting the room for the next event while adhering to company cleanliness standards
