Job Requirements

  • Must have basic knowledge on food and beverage preparation and service standards
  • Ideal candidates will have at least 1 year of banquet server experience
  • Knowledge of appropriate tables setting
  • Ability to carry up to 50 pounds on a continuous basis throughout the shift
  • Ability to operate beverage equipment e.g. coffee maker, ice tea maker
  • Ability to provide guests with an attentive, efficient service process

  • At least one year of banquet server experience
  • Knowledge of appropriate table setting
  • Ability to provide attentive and efficient service to guests
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment

Job Duties

  • Deliver high standards of quality service during social or corporate events
  • Connect with clients to create a relaxed environment
  • Read and understand Banquet Event Orders (BEO)
  • Set up banquet rooms according to BEO including linen, silverware, and glassware
  • Greet and seat guests in a friendly and courteous manner
  • Replenish beverages as needed and clear empty glasses and bottles
  • Check assigned stations and ensure glassware, china, and silverware are free of spots
  • Serve and clear common breakfast, lunch, and dinner menus correctly
  • Ensure buffet food and beverage quality
  • Attend to guests to ensure satisfaction
  • Report any hazard situations to immediate supervisor
  • Attend pre-meal briefings and execute sequence of service
  • Inform banquet manager of special menu requests
  • Carry out opening and closing side work efficiently
  • Perform other tasks assigned by supervisor to ensure guest satisfaction
