Job Requirements
- Experience in hotel or related field preferred
- Long hours sometimes required
- Have a neat appearance
- Ability to walk and reach with hands and arms
- Ability to regularly lift or move up to 30 pounds
- Ability to stand for long hours at a time
- Be able to evaluate and select among alternative courses of action quickly and accurately
- Be able to work well in high-pressure situations while maintaining composure and objectivity
- Ability to listen carefully and resolve guest issues satisfactorily
- Ability to identify potential guest issues and develop prevention methodologies
- Ability to effectively listen to understand and clarify concerns and issues
- Ability to convey information clearly and effectively
- Effective problem handling including anticipation prevention identification and solving
Job Qualifications
- Experience in hotel or related field preferred
Job Duties
- Interact with all guests and all team members at all times in a friendly service-oriented manner
- Maintain regular attendance in compliance with Callaway standards as required by scheduling that varies according to business needs
- Maintain high standards of personal appearance and grooming including wearing a nametag when working
- Comply at all times with Callaway standards and regulations to encourage safe and efficient operations
- Maintain a friendly and warm demeanor with both team members and guests
- Maintain and suggest updates of all standards for operation including server appearance and uniform attendance service training and product knowledge
- Assist sales and event management in coordination for banquet functions
- Assist with conference setup and stewarding to coordinate all banquet functions
- Manage difficult or emotional customer situations responding promptly to customer needs and service requests
- Strive for 100% satisfaction of all guests
- Attend all meetings and training as required by supervisor or management
