Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • ability to perform physical tasks such as moving tables and chairs
  • prior experience in serving food and beverages preferred
  • ability to follow health and safety regulations
  • excellent time management skills
  • ability to work cooperatively in a team
  • professional demeanor and conduct

Job Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • previous server experience in a restaurant or banquet facility preferred
  • excellent hospitality skills
  • strong time management and prioritization skills
  • knowledge of food allergies and special dietary requirements
  • ability to move and arrange heavy tables and chairs
  • effective communication skills
  • ability to maintain a clean and safe work environment

Job Duties

  • Perform complete setup and breakdown of functions for events
  • set up dining tables with dishware, silverware, and linens
  • serve food and beverages to patrons
  • bus tables and clean dishes and utensils
  • maintain general housekeeping including bathroom cleaning, sweeping, and mopping
  • promote high-level customer service
  • prepare coffee, tea, and other beverages
  • remove garbage and maintain clean work area
  • assist in food preparation
  • follow health regulations
  • report issues to supervisor
  • cover for other personnel as needed
