Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Prior experience in food service or hospitality preferred
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent customer service skills
- Physical stamina and dexterity
- Ability to work safely in wet floors temperature extremes and excessive noise
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver in confined spaces
Job Qualifications
- Prior experience as a banquet server waiter or waitress or similar role in food and beverage or hospitality industry
- Strong multitasking and time management skills with ability to stay composed and efficient during busy events
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to provide welcoming and accommodating guest experience
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods carry heavy trays and move quickly with precision and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively and safely in environments with wet floors temperature extremes and excessive noise
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and maneuver in tightly-quartered spaces
Job Duties
- Prepare banquet rooms according to event specifications including setting up tables chairs linens and service stations while ensuring all items meet quality and presentation standards
- Provide attentive and professional food and beverage service to guests during events including serving courses refilling beverages and promptly addressing guest needs
- Break down and clean event spaces after services including clearing tables storing equipment and resetting the room for the next event while adhering to company cleanliness standards
- Work collaboratively with kitchen and event staff to ensure timely delivery of courses
- Adapt service approach based on real-time guest feedback and event flow
- Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout service
- Ensure proper handling and storage of service equipment after events
