Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent GED
  • minimum of one year of related work experience
  • must be at least eighteen years of age
  • ability to read and understand Banquet Event Orders
  • capability to carry multiple entrees per tray
  • customer-focused and professional attitude
  • ability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends
  • basic arithmetic skills
  • physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 lbs
  • effective oral and written communication skills in English
  • punctuality and consistent attendance
  • ability to handle and move objects safely
  • must adhere to safety standards and maintain a clean work environment

Job Qualifications

  • High School diploma or equivalent GED preferred
  • minimum of one year of experience in events, banquets, or restaurants preferred
  • must be at least eighteen years of age to serve alcoholic drinks

Job Duties

  • Read and understand Banquet Event Orders
  • carry at least 8 entrees per tray
  • provide fine dining level food and beverage service
  • initiate and maintain friendly and professional guest contact
  • setup and maintain food and beverage stations
  • maintain inventory for stations
  • keep event and staging areas tidy and organized
  • participate in setup and cleanup of service items
  • work independently during slower times
  • ensure a safe and clean work environment
  • maintain high social contact with staff and patrons
  • work flexible schedules including nights, weekends, and holidays
  • pay attention to detail
  • multitask effectively
  • handle and move objects safely
  • maintain a customer-focused attitude
  • communicate effectively in English
  • use basic arithmetic
  • stand for extended periods
  • bend, stretch, and reach
  • lift objects up to 30 lbs
  • be punctual with consistent attendance
  • respond to basic customer complaints or inquiries
