Job Requirements
- Must be able to work on call for days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- must be able to lift up to 50lbs
- must provide current TIPS and ServeSafe certifications
- previous waitstaff experience is preferred
- ability to communicate effectively in English
- must meet company grooming and safety standards
- availability on weekends and holidays
- strong interpersonal skills
- ability to multitask in a busy environment
Job Qualifications
- Ideal as a second job or for college students interested in a hospitality position while having limited availability to work when school is in session
- must be able to work on call for days, nights, weekends, and holidays, in accordance with availability to work
- must be able to lift up to 50lbs and stand for the duration of a full-shift
- must provide current TIPS & ServeSafe certifications
- previous waitstaff experience in a four-star/four-diamond hotel, banquet hall, catering facility or resort is a plus
- must be able to meet company grooming and safety requirements at all times
- strong interpersonal skills and ability to multi-task in a busy work environment are a must
- availability to work weekends, holidays
- ability to satisfactorily communicate in English with guests, management and co-workers is required
Job Duties
- Perform all banquet side work as designated by the banquet captain and or banquet managers
- efficiently and properly perform all service standards
- attend to all needs of the guests during functions and function related duties
- report to the banquet manager any need for housekeeping and or repairs of and banquet equipment
- assist in the upkeep and organization of all liquor liability laws
- must be familiar with and adhere to all liquor liability laws
- must attend all designated pre-meal meetings
- must follow all details as described on banquet event orders (BEO's)
- must be able to set tables to specifications, carry trays, and have excellent customer service experience
