Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- two to four years of experience in banquet service, preferably in upscale hotel or convention center
- ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift, pull, or push 35 pounds regularly
- TIPS or equivalent alcohol training certification
- flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays

- Two to four years experience in mid-high volume banquet operations within upscale hotel or convention center preferred
- high school diploma or equivalent
- ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift/push/pull 35 plus pounds regularly
- TIPS or local/state alcohol training certification
- flexibility to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
Job Duties
- Assist in setting up banquet rooms according to the Banquet Event Order (BEO)
- ensure proper placement of dining and service equipment and cleanliness before guest arrival
- greet guests and ensure comfortable seating
- serve meals and beverages promptly and professionally
- refill beverages and attend to guest needs throughout the event
- clear plates, glassware, and silverware promptly after each course
- reset tables for subsequent courses or events
- assist with banquet space breakdown and cleanup
- provide attentive and friendly service addressing guest needs and special requests
- handle guest complaints discreetly and report as needed
- coordinate service with banquet team ensuring food and beverages are served according to timeline
- communicate with kitchen staff regarding service needs and dietary requirements
- assist with setting up and maintaining buffets, food stations, or beverage stations
