Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years previous food and beverage serving experience
- Ability to work flexible, on-call hours
- Strong communication skills in English
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift moderate weights
- Must maintain a professional appearance and demeanor
Job Qualifications
- Two years previous food and beverage serving experience required
- Strong knowledge of food and beverage preparations
- Strong knowledge of service standards
- Strong knowledge of guest relations and etiquette
- Working knowledge of appropriate table settings
- Working knowledge of service-ware and menu items
- Ability to read, speak, write, and understand English sufficiently to communicate with guests
- Ability to remember, recite, and promote the entire variety of menu items
Job Duties
- Make the function space visually appealing including linen and table setting
- Design food stations and present menu offerings for events
- Provide beverage service during functions
- Prepare banquet areas in advance of events
- Refresh rooms as needed during events
- Maintain a sanitary and clean environment throughout the function space
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless event execution
