Job Duties
- Maintain pleasant personality and demeanor throughout the function
- provide food service for banquet events in accordance with hotel and banquet standards
- setup action stations, cook (ie: simmer, brown, saute), serve patrons at action stations in accordance with head chef plate presentation and garnishes
- setup banquet buffet displays both hot and cold in allotted time
- maintain food levels at banquet buffet displays
- engage guests at banquet events to determine food allergies, preferences, and dietary needs and report to proper banquet captains
- perform proper coffee brewing and tea brewing techniques
- be familiar with seating positions for plated events and proper serving techniques for synchronized food placement
- complete all daily side duties, post function clean up, organization, and deep cleaning of work areas
- report to all necessary pre shift and post shift meetings with banquet leadership
- report to banquet leadership for inspection of completed work before leaving
- store all banquet and hotel equipment in an orderly and clean fashion according to leadership instructions
