Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • preferred experience in luxury hotel food and beverage service or related work
  • flexible schedule ability to work weekdays, weekends, holidays, evening and overnight shifts
  • strong oral presentation skills
  • ability to follow detailed event instructions
  • ability to execute tasks independently and as part of a team
  • ability to multi-task in a fast-paced and demanding environment
  • strong problem-solving abilities
  • valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • must possess valid US work authorization
  • not eligible for work sponsorship or visa

Job Duties

  • Offer pre-determined menu selections to each table
  • maintain knowledge of each selection's origin, taste, and preparation method
  • communicate guest orders including special needs or requests to Banquet Manager or kitchen
  • check completed kitchen orders against guest’s original order
  • transport items to guest table in timely manner to ensure proper food quality
  • greet guests in professional manner and respond urgently to guest concerns and requests
  • assist in set-up of linen, china, glass, silver, and accent pieces according to banquet event order
  • anticipate guest needs and ascertain satisfaction
  • break down, clean and set up tables, buffets, and food stations
  • plate, prepare, and serve food
  • take guest reservations
  • assist with set-up and breakdown of banquet events
  • perform tasks or projects assigned by management
  • assist in Food & Beverage areas during heavy volume or absence of others
  • comply with Four Seasons' Work Rules and Standards of Conduct
  • work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors
