Job Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in food and beverage or hospitality preferred
  • Ability to attend scheduled pre-event briefings
  • Willingness to undergo internal service audition for placement
  • Ability to follow company policies and procedures
  • Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Availability to work flexible hours including nights and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • Prior experience in banquet or event serving preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to provide anticipatory and polished guest service
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality in a fast-paced environment
  • Knowledge of safety and sanitation standards
  • Physical stamina to stand and walk for extended periods
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends

Job Duties

  • Redefine hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while promoting company values
  • Perform responsibilities according to company standards, policies, and procedures
  • Attend pre-event briefings to understand service assignments, event pacing, and menu details
  • Provide polished, anticipatory service using established methods including American service and team sweep
  • Ensure tables, stations, and event spaces are impeccably set and maintained
  • Greet guests warmly and respond promptly to their needs with professionalism
  • Maintain awareness of event flow and proactively support team members for seamless guest experiences
  • Adhere to safety, sanitation, and service protocols including allergy and dietary considerations
  • Communicate effectively with Captains, Managers, Culinary, and other departments
  • Clear and reset tables and event spaces promptly and discreetly
  • Uphold confidentiality, professionalism, and company policies
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management to meet business needs
