Job Requirements

  • 1+ year experience in banquets, restaurants, catering or fine dining preferred
  • Strong guest service instincts
  • Clear communication skills
  • Comfortable with both solo service and team-style banquet execution
  • WA Food Handler’s Card required or ability to obtain within 14 days of hire
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs, stand/walk for long periods, and navigate multiple service points
  • Ability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends and holidays

Job Duties

  • Execute event set-up, service, and tear-down based on Banquet Event Order standards
  • Prepare dining and service areas, ensuring accuracy of place settings and cleanliness of space
  • Provide full-service food and beverage hospitality for standing and seated service formats
  • Communicate clearly and professionally with guests, event leads, and fellow team members
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond with grace, urgency, and care
  • Maintain knowledge of food and beverage offerings, including allergens, specials, and beverage pairings
  • Support logistics such as linen handling, equipment reset, and glassware polish
  • Ensure all service ware is cleared efficiently and discreetly throughout event duration
  • Support additional duties as assigned, including dish support or event reset
