Job Description

Job Requirements
- Valid NYS driver's license with clean and safe driving record
- Must be able to drive a car or people van for transporting staff and equipment
- Must obtain PCI certification through Campus Dining
- Must have or be willing to obtain TIPS certification
- Open availability including days, evenings, weekends, and specified university football game dates
- Punctuality and consistent attendance
- Ability to read and write English
- Willingness to do prep and cleanup work as needed
- Must have excellent customer service skills
- Must have professional appearance, demeanor, and hygiene
- Able to make independent decisions
- Must work all catering, concessions, and special events assigned to the department
- Ability to stand and walk for minimum of 8 hours
- Able to lift and move up to 50 lbs occasionally
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Must work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work in loud, busy conditions with exposure to kitchen hazards
- Must provide own dependable transportation

- Willingness to obtain TIPS certification if not already certified

- Familiarity with off-premises catering including equipment loading, unloading, and setup
- Dependable transportation required
Job Duties
- Ensure exemplary guest service through all forms of banquet service including carving stations and bartending
- Run food during events maintaining compliance with event standards
- Replenish product and supplies as needed
- Set up, break down, and transport catering equipment to and from event locations
- Support concession stands at all university home football and basketball games
- Perform side work including cleaning and organizing to maintain a safe environment
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and professionalism at all times
