Previous serving experience preferred
Excellent oral communication skills required
Positive interpersonal skills required
Must have Lancaster County Food Handlers Permit

Job Duties

Review banquet event orders at the beginning of each shift to ensure rooms are set as contracted
Prepare rooms for use, adjusting lights, sound volumes, and temperature as needed before guests arrive
Communicate with lead event staff regarding any special needs and assist in ensuring that events are on time
Maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all banquet areas
Communicate areas of need, problems, and concerns from guests to the Events Manager
Ensure meeting rooms are re-set for the next event if within one day of the previous event
Keep inventory of all banquet equipment and ensure it is stored properly
Provide guests with a lasting positive experience
Maintain proper dining experience by delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, removing courses, replenishing utensils, and refilling glasses
Deliver alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks and properly open and pour wine at tableside
Perform basic cleaning tasks as directed
Greet all guests warmly
Adhere to grooming and appearance standards consistently
Understand and communicate products and services available at the hotel
