Job Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • One to three months related server experience
  • Must meet state and federal minimum age for serving alcohol
  • Current Food Handlers Card and TIPS Certification
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic including discounts and percentages
  • Effective communication skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to work well with others
  • Ability to read and understand instructions and correspondence
  • Ability to speak clearly and effectively
  • Attention to detail
  • Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends

Job Qualifications

  • One to three months' related server experience preferred

Job Duties

  • Help set up the banquet room for events if requested
  • Greet and serve guests in a friendly and energetic manner
  • Provide excellent hospitality by knowing the resort facility and menu
  • Write and relay food and beverage orders accurately
  • Serve food and beverages and clear tables following etiquette
  • Carry trays of dirty dishes to the kitchen
  • Serve hors d'oeuvres from trays as guests gather
  • Communicate with guests to ensure satisfaction
  • Collaborate with banquet captain and team
  • Follow food safety and sanitation procedures
  • Report safety or cleanliness issues
  • Perform additional assigned duties
