Job Duties

  • Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
  • Set up all banquet function table linens, china, silverware, glassware, and center pieces
  • Deliver food promptly and professionally
  • maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards
  • Follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests
  • Efficiently set up and break down buffets
  • Communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure that orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated
  • Exhibit exceptional communication skills and demonstrate ability to get along well with others
  • Remain flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff
  • Promote a clean, safe and neat environment for guests
  • Maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information that is shared
  • Promptly address complaints or issues
  • relay relevant information or complaints directly to supervisor
  • Ensure that the Banquet Hall or Event Space is properly set up prior to and after the service period
  • keep area clean and neat while meeting established sanitation standards
  • Prepare for future events by folding napkins, filling condiments, and performing other duties as needed
  • Work with staff of other departments to perform job duties during special events and functions
  • Exercise good judgment skills and an adaptive attitude
  • Perform other duties as assigned
