Job Duties
- Promptly and warmly greet guests in the dining room
- Set up all banquet function table linens, china, silverware, glassware, and center pieces
- Deliver food promptly and professionally
- maintain safe food handling and sanitation standards
- Follow up periodically to assist with any additional needs or requests
- Efficiently set up and break down buffets
- Communicate directly with back-of-the-house staff to ensure that orders are delivered correctly and special requests are accommodated
- Exhibit exceptional communication skills and demonstrate ability to get along well with others
- Remain flexible and patient when communicating with guests and staff
- Promote a clean, safe and neat environment for guests
- Maintain a high level of sensitivity and confidentiality regarding personal or medical information that is shared
- Promptly address complaints or issues
- relay relevant information or complaints directly to supervisor
- Ensure that the Banquet Hall or Event Space is properly set up prior to and after the service period
- keep area clean and neat while meeting established sanitation standards
- Prepare for future events by folding napkins, filling condiments, and performing other duties as needed
- Work with staff of other departments to perform job duties during special events and functions
