Job Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- six months of service experience in a restaurant, hotel, or resort
- TIPS responsible alcohol service certification or equivalent or ability to obtain within 30 days from hire date
- valid ServSafe Food Handler card or ability to obtain within 30 days from hire date
- ability to work at both CIA California Campus locations
- ability to stand and work for extended periods
- ability to bend, stoop, or reach as needed
- ability to frequently lift and carry 30 pounds
- ability to occasionally lift and carry 50 pounds with assistance
- ability to work outdoors in varying temperatures including above 100 degrees Fahrenheit
Job Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED

Job Duties
- Assist guests by anticipating their needs
- function as bartender at events
- use standardized CIA recipes for all items served from the bar
- maintain a strong food and beverage knowledge base to provide excellent guest service
- receive orders in a professional manner according to hospitality standards
- maintain control and timing throughout service stations
- serve orders meeting CIA service standards
- conduct physical inventory of storage areas and order supplies as needed
- maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations
- complete setup and breakdown of side work to contribute to an organized work environment
- ensure tables are maintained during dining experiences according to standards
- perform any other duties as assigned
