Job Description

As a Banquet Server, you will work closely with a team of hospitality professionals to support the execution of various events ranging from corporate meetings to social celebrations. The role involves preparing meeting spaces and tables in accordance with event specifications, setting up display stations and bars, and responsibly managing food preparation and service according to strict protocols. Job Requirements

  • Ability to stand, sit, or walk for extended periods
  • Must be able to work under pressure while maintaining courteous demeanor
  • Must be available to work flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays
  • Adherence to company dress code and grooming standards
  • Ability to move, lift, carry, push, pull objects weighing up to 30 pounds without assistance
  • Commitment to following all regulatory, company, and department policies
  • Must remain guest focused and professional at all times

Job Qualifications

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Positive attitude and ability to work cooperatively with diverse coworkers
  • Ability to adapt to organizational and environmental changes
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and multitask effectively
  • Experience in hospitality or food service preferred but not required

Job Duties

  • Assist with table and meeting space prep before the event
  • Read and execute all BEOs
  • Set up display stations and bars, proper food arrangement
  • Assist with food and buffet preparation before and during the event
  • Ensure safe food handling guidelines are always followed
  • Deliver food to the meeting space in a timely manner
  • Serve plated items to guests and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
  • Always remain guest focused with the goal being 100% satisfaction and completion of all BEOs
  • Assist with post-event clean up, inventory, food storage, and tear down
  • Work as a member of a team, communicate with team members and supervisors to ensure efficient work ethic and overall guest satisfaction
