Job Requirements
- Must be 18 or older
- high school diploma or GED required
- current ServeSafe certification required
- minimum two years serving experience
- ability to lift 25 lbs to waist
- ability to stand for long hours
- able to move around facility regularly
- good communication skills
- ability to follow directions
- maintain grooming and dress code standards

Job Duties
- Follow through with the proper and timely set-up and execution of banquet events
- set up tables and chairs
- inspect linen, silver, and china prior to use
- maintain a high degree of professionalism
- maintain equipment and facilities in an organized, clean, safe environment
- review Banquet Event Orders at the beginning of each shift to ensure rooms are set as contracted
- communicate with lead catering staff regarding special needs
- assist in ensuring events are on time
- pass needed information to the next staff member on duty
- maintain high standards of safety and cleanliness in all areas
- communicate guest needs, problems, and concerns to Food & Beverage Manager
- maintain proper dining experience by delivering items, fulfilling customer needs, removing courses, replenishing utensils, refilling glasses
- deliver alcoholic and nonalcoholic drinks
- properly open and pour wine at tableside
- perform basic cleaning tasks as directed by supervisor
- greet all guests warmly
- adhere to grooming and appearance standards
- understand and communicate products and services available at the convention center
