  • must possess valid OLCC card
  • must possess valid food handler's card
  • must be able to work in a fast paced environment
  • must ensure a teamwork environment
  • ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends and holidays
  • must be knowledgeable about food and beverage industry
  • must have a passion for creating exceptional guest experiences

Job Qualifications

  • high school education
  • six months customer service experience preferred
  • knowledge of food and beverage industry
  • ability to create exceptional guest experiences
  • excellent communication skills

  • familiarity with banquet event orders and safety protocols

Job Duties

  • maintains a commitment to customer service and guest satisfaction
  • performs all guest contact activities such as serving food and beverage
  • responds to guest's inquiries in a cordial, efficient and professional manner
  • ensures food and beverage is served while maintaining a consistent presentation and proper temperature
  • delivers food and beverage items to guests
  • offers product knowledge of food and beverage to guests
  • provides general resort information for guests
  • offers warm and sincere welcome/farewell for all guests
  • maintains an up to date working knowledge of all resort amenities and special events
  • interacts with resort staff in a professional manner
  • upsells other resort services and amenities to guests
  • maintains a professional demeanor and attitude
  • communicates all pertinent information to banquets team
  • maintains constant awareness of safety issues
  • reports safety incidents to on-duty supervisor
  • follows banquet event orders with strong attention to detail
  • attends department meetings
  • resolves guest issues promptly and with great care
  • ensures proper handling, cleaning and sanitation of equipment, china, glass and silver
  • follows through on lost and found procedures
  • reports needed repairs to supervisor
  • communicates effectively with kitchen staff about food orders and special needs
