Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 16 years old
  • availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules
  • ability to lift up to 25 lbs and stand for extended periods

  • Previous banquet or restaurant service experience preferred but not required
  • strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive and team-oriented attitude
  • ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume event environment

Job Duties

  • Set up banquet tables, linens, place settings, and service stations according to event specifications
  • serve food and beverages in a professional, courteous, and efficient manner
  • maintain a high level of customer service by engaging with guests and ensuring their needs are met
  • assist with clearing tables, removing plates, and maintaining a clean and organized event space
  • follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
  • work collaboratively with banquet staff, event coordinators, and management to ensure smooth event operations
  • assist in event breakdown and cleanup after service is complete
  • be knowledgeable about menu items and accommodate guest requests or dietary restrictions as needed
  • follow all alcohol service laws and assist with beverage service if required
