Job Requirements

  • Previous experience of 2 or more years as a banquet or restaurant server
  • high school graduate or minimum 18 years of age
  • strong guest service and hospitality skills with ability to provide exceptional guest experiences
  • excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with guests and team members
  • ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining composure and attention to detail
  • knowledge of food and beverage service procedures and etiquette
  • flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
  • physical stamina and ability to lift and carry heavy trays or equipment
  • medium work including exerting 10-45 pounds
  • walking and standing during a 4-8 hour shift with adequate breaks

Job Qualifications

Job Duties

  • Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications
  • serve food and beverages efficiently and in a timely manner
  • maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the event
  • follow all service standards, safety, and sanitation procedures
  • assist with breakdown and clean-up after events
  • communicate professionally, clearly and effectively with team members and supervisors
  • anticipate and respond to guest needs in a friendly and attentive manner
  • uphold the high hospitality standards of Templeton Landing at all times
