Job Requirements

  • Must be at least 21 years of age
  • High school diploma, GED certification or equivalent preferred
  • One year food or beverage service experience preferred
  • Must successfully complete the New Mexico Food Handlers Course within 30 days of date of hire
  • Must obtain and maintain a New Mexico Alcohol Server's License
  • Ability to lift at least 30 lbs. and push or pull 100 lbs.
  • Ability to pass a stringent background investigation
  • Will require pre-employment and random drug screening
  • Punctual and regular attendance according to policy
  • Available to work nights, weekends, holidays, split shifts, and overtime as needed

Job Qualifications

  • One year food or beverage service experience preferred
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a sense of urgency
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Maintains the highest standard of personal hygiene
  • Ability to work professionally with co-workers and supervisors
  • Must successfully complete the New Mexico Food Handlers Course within 30 days of hire
  • Must obtain and maintain a New Mexico Alcohol Server’s License
  • Ability to lift and balance heavy trays above shoulder level

Job Duties

  • Serves at food and beverage functions in accordance with banquet event orders, banquet service policies, and banquet management instructions
  • Provides friendly, professional, courteous, and timely service to every guest
  • Assists in setting banquet rooms with proper linen, silverware, china and glassware for events
  • Stocks service areas with supplies such as coffee, food, tableware, and linens
  • Bus tables during and after service, assisting with clearing and resetting banquet rooms as needed
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings to understand directives
  • Complete required computer-assisted training in a timely manner
  • Return equipment to proper storage and maintain cleanliness and organization
