Job Requirements
- high school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- one to three months related experience and training
- ServSafe certified (Food & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent
- meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
- ability to read and speak English may be required
- regularly stands and walks
- able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- able to stoop, kneel, crawl or crouch
- maintains exceptional personal hygiene
- reliable attendance
- works well under pressure
- patient and considerate
- responsible and trustworthy

Job Duties
- prepares function sites and assures meeting rooms are set according to specifications
- serves food and beverage items to guests based on established guidelines
- sets dining tables, buffets, and other service areas according to Banquet Event Order or as directed
- attends and actively participates in pre-shift meetings
- communicates special requests and concerns to the department manager
- helps to maintain clean banquet and kitchen areas
- oversees all equipment with care
- assists in inventory control and monitoring waste in the banquet or catering area
- ensures the guests are provided with excellent customer service by anticipating their needs before they arise
- incorporates safe and sanitary work practices throughout job performance
- maintains regular and reliable attendance
- maintains exceptional personal hygiene and positive representation of the organization to employees, clients and vendors
- performs other duties as required
