Job Requirements

  • Must be of legal age in order to serve alcohol per state law
  • Prior serving and setup experience preferred
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment

Job Duties

  • Assist with the setup of banquet rooms and event spaces including arranging tables chairs linens place settings and decorations according to event specifications
  • Ensure that all necessary equipment utensils and silverware are clean polished and properly arranged and that audiovisual equipment and lighting are set up and operational
  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival escort them to their assigned tables and provide assistance with seating as needed
  • Take food and beverage orders from guests using suggestive selling techniques to promote additional items or upgrades
  • Serve food and beverages to guests promptly and accurately following established service standards and presentation guidelines
  • Anticipate guests needs and preferences and provide personalized service and attention to ensure a memorable and enjoyable dining experience
  • Respond promptly and courteously to guest inquiries requests and concerns and resolve any issues or complaints with empathy and professionalism
  • Clear tables remove used dishes and utensils and replenish supplies as needed throughout the event to ensure a clean and orderly dining environment
  • Assist with event breakdown and cleanup tasks including removing linens folding chairs and dismantling decorations
  • Complete post event cleaning and sanitation procedures to maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in banquet areas
